12/24-クリスマス☆イブ
関東地方以外では大寒波が押し寄せている影響で大雪などに見舞われているよう
ですが、関東地方でも雪は降らないものの寒い日が続いております。この日も底冷えの
する寒い１日となりました。朝から配達など仕事に追われ、忙しくしておりましたが、
子供達の顔がほころんでいるというか、にこにこしていて気持ち悪いほどでした。
それもそのはず、この日はクリスマスイブということで、夜中にサンタさんが
プレゼントを持ってやってくる日だからです。我が家の子供達はまだ小さいので
サンタさんの存在を信じて疑いません。夜は、少しチープなシャンパンを開けて、
皆で乾杯。クリスマスメニューは私のリクエストで鳥ももの大きいやつ（あの足の骨が
ついていてその先に身が重そうにくっついている鶏肉）にしてもらいました。
その鶏肉をがぶりつきながらの楽しいクリスマスディナーでした。シャンパンを飲み
すぎたせいか、すぐに眠くなってしまい、子供たちよりもたぶん早く寝てしまったと
思います。夜中にこっそりママのようなサンタさんが子供達の枕元に希望のプレゼント
を置いておりました。娘は、NINTENDO DSのソフト“おいでよ！どうぶつの森”、
息子は“野球盤”（これはパパも楽しみ…）をサンタさんにお願いしておりました。
朝起きると２人とも（娘は、当然というような顔で、息子は少しビックリしたような、
それでいて嬉しくてたまらない、といったなんともいえないリアクションでした）
嬉しさを爆発させ、夢中で遊び始めました。サンタさんありがとう!!!
