10/15-消防操法郡大会応援＆取手地区地域安全運動推進大会参加
曇り空ながらも、何とか午前中は雨が降らず、もちそうな天気の中、消防操法の
最後の北相馬地区大会が開催されました。取手市からは市の大会に優勝した第26分団
（ポンプ車の部）と第27分団（小型ポンプの部）が参加しました。我らが3分団も応援
ということで、朝から会場である競輪場に行きました。市の大会と違い、ホース検査や
ポンプ車の検査も茨城県の審査員が来て厳密に行われました。我々は主にホース巻き
などを手伝って待っていました。市の大会と違って、取手、守谷、利根から各2チーム
づつの全部で6チームしかないため、（昨年までは、藤代も含め8チームでしたが、
取手と藤代の合併により1チーム減に）開会式もそこそこにすぐに競技が始まりました。
トップバッターは守谷でした。緊張したのか、1番員も置く場所を間違えてしまったり、
ホースを踏んでしまったりと散々な内容でした。2番目に登場した取手の第26分団は、
市の空操法とは違って、慎重に操作しているといった印象でしたが、それでもスピード
にものって、レベルの違いを見せつけていました。3番目に利根が登場しましたが、
こちらも26分団ほどの勢いもなく、誰の目にも取手の26分団の優勝は明らかでした。
北相馬地区だけでの郡大会はこれが最後のようですが、水出しという以外は、確かに
市の大会のほうがレベルが高いのでは？と思わせるほど取手とのレベルの差が
ありすぎます。結果、今回も当然のように優勝した第26分団ですが、その内容は、
ますます進化を続けている、より完璧に近づいている印象が強かったです。
我々にとっては、目標となりうる（？）かなり高い壁になりつつあります。
午後からは、警察署主催の『取手地区地域安全運動推進大会』に誠親隊として
参加しました。これは、防犯に関する表彰や講演が行われたもので、
茨城県の玄関口であり、都心からも程近い取手地区がいかに犯罪が多いか！ということ
が分かりました。不審者や変質者から子供たちを守るため、我々もより注意深く警戒
していきたいと思いました。
