7/24-阿夫利神社祭手伝い
何とも蒸し暑い曇り空の1日となりました。この日は、朝一で牛久方面の配達に
出掛け、帰ってきてからすぐに新道の阿夫利神社のお祭の手伝いに行きました。
この阿夫利神社は宮司さんが常駐している社ではなく、その地区の人のために社だけ
建っている小さな神社です。よって祭の儀式には、毎年八坂神社の宮司さんが呼ばれ
て儀式を執り行っている、いわば我々の町内の八坂神社とは親戚のような神社です。
来週の1日から始まる八坂神社例大祭とは違って、歩行者天国になるわけでもなく、
露天商が軒を連ねるわけでもないですが、昼間子供たちがお御輿を担いで、山車を引く
光景は一緒です。ただ違うのは、その神輿や山車を横目で見ながら、
我々青年部隊は、その町内350世帯程度を４班（１班大人3～4人＋子供2～3人の
合せて5～7人程度）に分かれて獅子舞とお神酒を持って歩くというところです。
我が町内でも同じようなことを中日（8/2）に獅子舞とお神酒と八坂神社の御札を持って
歩きますが、新道では並行して1日でやってしまうところが大きな違いです。
夜には、カラオケ大会や抽選会などが行われたのですが、我々はその前座として
八坂神社例大祭で行う神輿渡御と同じスタイルで新道の神輿を担いで見せる
パフォーマンスを披露しました。凄く小さい神輿なのですが、意外に疲れました。
その後、夕食を兼ねて駅前の居酒屋に繰り出し、ご馳走になってしまいました。
すごくアットホームでいいお祭でした。いよいよ来週は、八坂の祭が始まります！
