7/21-７歳の誕生日
１日おきに暑くなったり、涼しくなったりと変わりやすい陽気が続いておりますが、
この日も猛暑を予感させる朝となりました。いつもよりも少し寝坊してしまった
こともあるのですが、朝起きると、娘やママ、息子は、娘のチャレンジ水泳
（泳ぎが苦手？な子供の補習のような水泳の授業）のため既に小学校にでかけて
いませんでした。小学校は今日から夏休みです。と同時に娘の７歳の誕生日でも
ありました。午前中早いうちに娘が小学校から帰ってきたので、早速「お誕生日、
おめでとう！」と声をかけてあげたのですが、娘曰く「ママは、朝一番におめでとう！
と言ってくれたけどパパは言ってくれなかった」と言われてしまいました。
既に誕生日プレゼントは、月曜日に、これまでのプレゼントでは最も高価なゲーム機を
プレゼントしていましたし、その夜も牛久の鰻屋さんに一足早い土用の鰻を食べに
出かけ、そこでもお祝いをしていたので、ついうっかり忘れておりました。それでも
本人としては、誕生日当日に皆に「お誕生日、おめでとう！」と言って祝って
ほしかったのだと思いました。来年こそは必ず朝一番に言ってあげようと思いました。
