6/25-市民の足！
この日も前日同様、気温はウナギのぼりで暑い一日となりました。午後から柏・松戸
方面の配達に出掛け、戻ってくると子供達が河川敷に出掛けたというので、後から合流
しました。いつものように娘は自転車の練習（ほぼ完璧に乗りこなせるようになり
ました。）息子は、駆けっこ（よーい、ドンで一緒に走らせたがる）と汗をかきながら
楽しそうに遊んでいました。私は、その後店を早めにあがらせて貰って、前の前の会社
（数の子で失敗して清算した渋谷が本拠地の某私鉄系商社）で上司だった方の
ご母堂様のお通夜に向いました。前日FAXで場所の地図を送ってもらったのですが、
流山の平和台という駅から歩いて2、3分のところだったので電車で行くことにしました。
馬橋まで千代田線で行って、馬橋で流山電鉄の総武流山線に乗り換えて5個目
（4個目だったかな？）の駅が平和台でした。この鉄道は、松戸と流山間を結ぶ短い
単線で、乗降客も多く、まさに“市民の足”として活躍している貴重な電車という印象を
持ちました。恐らくご多分に漏れず赤字路線だろうなぁとは感じつつも、残っていって
ほしい電車だと思いました。
