6/12-暑ッ！
梅雨の晴れ間のこの日は、朝から忙しくしておりました。午前中は、仲町水門の樋管
点検並びに町内の消火栓点検を行いました。６月からは月２回実施となります。最近
太り気味の身体のせいか、ちょっと動くだけでも汗が噴出してきました。午後からは、
お祭の山車（だし）修復作業を行いました。その間配達があったので、自分はほとんど
作業に携われませんでしたが、20人近い若衆が集まってくれたので、作業もスムーズで
予定通り4時過ぎには、終了しました。その後、ソフトボールの練習試合を行いました。
来週の大会の前哨戦となりましたが、見事6-5で勝利を収めました。ちなみに私は宴会の
準備を詰所でしていたため試合には参加することができず、終わってからの練習に参加
しました。今年は、何とか１勝ぐらいはできるかも？ようやくこの日の予定は全て終了
して、詰所でビールを飲み始めましたが、まさに“のどを潤す”という表現通り
旨かったです。いつもの酒宴は、夜中まで続きました。。。
